We have several exciting projects currently underway:

The Feel-Good Closet: Coming up on Friday, May 21st from 4-6 PM! Originally founded in 2007, the Feel Good Closet was the inspiration of teen volunteer Sara Asher. She has been continually rounding up fashionable clothing donations to share within her Feel Good Closet of great clothes for girls to select from! Come have fun helping each other look and feel thier best. Let us know if you'd like to help sort clothing donations for the May 21 event to make sure everything in teen-approved!

Girls' Newsletter: We are starting up an online newsletter and need reporters, writers and artists to help make it happen! Come join us on Wednesdays or submit your ideas and submissions via e-mail: info@opheliasplace.net

Book & Movie Reviews: Have a book or movie review you'd like to share? Tell us your thoughts, we'll post 'em online.

Other things teen volunteers have done:

• HENNA TATTOOS!
• Design posters and flyers advertising upcoming Ophelia's Place events
• The womens' history project murals and hallway of fame
• Painting our walls and decorating our beautiful center and girls' room!
• Help lead tours and prepare Ophelia's Place for community events
• Create and maintain the Ophelia's Place myspace and/or facebook pages
